MY NAME IS WALLACE,
Caught in Paint'
IN THE CATBIRD SEAT
Sympathetic Details
Wallace Waverly is a socially sheltered, high functioning mentally challenged man who has lived with his mother all his life. Upon her death, Wallace finds himself alone and lonesome, rattling around in mom's big, old Victorian home. Wallace's days now consist of playing ragtime on the family piano and gazing out the front window. One day, as he browses through the personal section of a newspaper he sees an ad that reads: 'Lonely? Need Love? Call 1-900-HOT BABES.' Wallace, taking the ad literally, dials the number and falls in love with Tiffany, the 900 sex-line operator he encounters.
'My Name is Wallace,' while a sweet and touching comedy, is also the story of personal salvation through love.
Caught in Paint'
is a 6 minute video capturing painter/sculptor Rita Blitt painting on four by eight foot transparent surfaces while choreographer David Parsons and members of the Parsons Dance Company are seen in mid-air, through the painting, imitating the dancing lines of Blitt's paint strokes. Lois Greenfield, who collaborated in this union of paint, dance and photography, made dynamic photographs as she, too, was being filmed.
The creative sparks and positive energy of all the artists challenged the group to stretch their limits and perform magic.
IN THE CATBIRD SEAT
Mercy was only a child when she was stripped from society, pulled into the shadows, and forced to live a life of darkness. As a woman she makes those who owe pay in more ways than one. That is until the tables turn and she is blackmailed by Mr. Kain (David Alan Graf), a writer wanting a glimpse into her dark past. The two meet in a diner and reluctantly she unfolds the events that forged her into the deadly assassin she has become. A Table of twists and turns find out who truly is, 'In the Catbird Seat!'
Sympathetic Details
Sympathetic Details” follows Jonathan, an assassin, through two assignments during which he makes a moral decision to leave his life of professional murder. It is a psychological thriller, defined by character and dialogue instead of the action typical of the genre.
Jonathan’s boss, Phillips, has essentially adopted Jonathan after the death of Jonathan’s father and has raised him in the only world that he knows, contract killing. During Jonathan’s first assignment, he finds that he has killed a little boy’s father, which makes him question his occupation.
