While some theatres have doubled our price we have stayed the same for 10 years while increasing the quality and costs of our shows. We have always ben proud of our ability to make ends meet with ticket sales alone. The Reinharts have been paying the up front costs of getting reimbursed after the tickets have been sold.
However, with the bad economy causing audiences to dwindle we are for the first time seeking financial support for Ross Music Theatre, from the community they have served for 47 years. Not to get into to much details but before the show even auditions there are at least $5,000.00 in up front costs and by the end of the run those cost raise to anywhere from 12,000.00 to 25,000.00.
So, a group of Ross Music Theatre Alumni have formed a nonprofit group called the Ross Music Theatre Boosters whose intent is to help get finical backing to assist in paying for advertising, Theatre rental, Royalties, and insurance. No money raised by this group will be used to pay anybody as no one in this organization gets paid now as it is.
